Avignonesi Rosso di Montepulciano

Avignonesi is an old Tuscan estate that was purchased in 2009 by Virginie Saverys - a wine loving Belgian lawyer. She converted all the vineyards to organic/biodynamic farming to protect the health of her employees and the land.  Chemicals and additives are also banished from the winery. Since taking over, Virginie has garnered many accolades for her pure, fruit-driven, authentic but modern Sangiovese wines. The medium bodied Rosso is made from the estate's younger vines and offers bright, tangy red fruits, citrus peel, herbs and delicate spices.
